Office Suites

    It is developed by the Document Foundation, which is based in Berlin.

Image Editors

• Gimp

  • Gimp is a free and open source image editor. It is used to edit images, create new ones, and edit them in various ways. Code-wise most of project contributions come from Europe where the current GIMP maintainers live.

Specialist tools

• ASReview

  • ASReview is a tool used to aid screening of text records. Based on active learning in combination with machine learning techniques, it is often used in systematic reviews, reducing screening time by up to 96%.

    ASReview is open source research software developed by researchers at Utrecht University, in the Netherlands.
